Session times and Fee's
The Pre-School is open Monday to Friday. The setting is open for 48 weeks each year. We provide care and education for young children between the ages of 3mths and 4.11mths years, in our preschool and After school and Holiday club provision we care for children aged 3-9 years.
The session times are below: SEPT 2025
8am-9am - Early Morning Breakfast
8.45-12pm- Morning session
12-3.15pm Afternoon session
School day - 8.45-3.15 or 9-4
additional wrap around care available per hour from 4-6pm
Please note that all children present between 08:00 -08:30 will be offered breakfast cereal. At 12:00 children will be given a freshly cooked dinner, if you have purchased this or their packed lunch. Children present at 10:00 & 13.30 will be offered a snack (fruit, rice cake or savoury biscuit, toast etc). Children present 16:30-17.00 will be offered sandwiches for tea (fruit, cucumber/ carrot sticks cheese, yoghurt etc). Session Prices include nappies, nappy sacks, wipes, sun cream, high vis jackets, waterproofs, snacks and breakfast, tea for all babies, toddlers, and children. Parents must provide own formula milk. Closed for all bank holidays , a week end of August and week for Christmas depending on where Christmas fall. Were open for 48 weeks a year and offer 15-30hrs funding term time or stretched.
An invoice will be issued when we do a cooking activity, visitors such as Jonathans Jungle Roads, Woodland way- Forest schools or external visits to the library. This will not be more than £3.00 per time. There is also a 50p/£1 charge for activities the children join in due to purchasing resources- cooking ingredients.
Orchard Holiday Club Aged 2-9years
2,3,4 year olds £7.50 - doesn't include lunch
5-9 years - hourly rate of £6.00
cost covers all meals provided- Just a morning snack and water bottle needs to be brought in with you.
Terms & Conditions (Preschool )
We have a minimum booking requirement of 3 days /10hr a week. From Sept 25 this will change to 12hrs a week.
We strive to provide full day care and sessional care and believe a minimum period is necessary to build continuity.
Our prices do not include cost for Trips and other activities we provide.
Within our care we provide 15/ 30 hours funding for 1, 2, 3 & 4 year olds
Fees are paid for 48 weeks of the year and are payable termly in advance. funding will only cover 38 weeks a year.
The Preschool is closed on Bank Holidays as well a shutdown for 1 week at Christmas and 1 week end of August
There are no refunds for Bank Holiday closures or for absence due to holidays or sickness.
Our preferred payment method is bacs transfer and we will ask you to complete a mandate on Registration.
We also accept Nursery vouchers.
We require four weeks term time written notice to terminate our agreement with you and four weeks fees are payable in lieu of notice.
